Concrete Repair Services
Comparable to sunken concrete, there are many different reasons that could cause concrete to crack over time, including lack of control joints, thermal contraction, and drying shrinkage. Whatever the reason, cracks can be unsightly, lead to water seepage, and could cause further deterioration of the concrete. Some cracks can also gradually become larger over time. American Concrete Raising offers a solution with caulking. Our industrial grade polyurethane caulk can match any color concrete and is used to repair major cracks and open joints on flatwork, including:
- Garage floors
- Concrete pool decks
Our industrial polyurethane caulk is designed to repair/fill cracks and joints and smooth rough surfaces, resulting in waterproof and weatherproof performance. The caulking process involves the following steps:
- Any debris and pieces that have cracked off are removed from the slab areas to be repaired.
- The cracks/gaps are then thoroughly cleaned out.
- Using a caulking gun, cracks are filled with the polyurethane caulk and a backer rod (for large cracks).
- Surface is smoothed out.
